Required Qualifications

1. Strong proficiency in Python, with working knowledge of at least one frontend language (React JS) or a clear willingness to pick one up.
2. Fluency in SQL and experience using it to build reports, pipelines, or production transformations against real datasets.
3. Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud platform (AWS, GCP, or Azure) – building and operating services, scheduled jobs, or data pipelines in production.
4. Exposure to – or genuine curiosity about – real-time, high-throughput production systems, and the reliability, monitoring, and cost tradeoffs that come with them.
5. Experience shipping at least one end-to-end project where you owned the backend and, ideally, a lightweight frontend or internal tool on top of it.
